Chocolate cream pie with crushed Oreo crust
Baked a goodbye pie to my friends at Disney Interactive and sang them the Mickey Mouse club alma mater too. I put hershey’s chocolate syrup into a bag and cut a hole on the side. I practiced a few times drawing Mickey with it, but it worked out pretty well :)
Key Lime Pie with Meringue
Baked a key lime pie using Paula Deen’s recipe for the pie filling. I think I’ve pretty much mastered Meringue now so i’m sticking with the sure fire meringue recipe from here Food.com.
Angler fish, dwarf, spiral and soup
This was done for our work bi-weekly art challenge. We needed to create artwork based on 3 words, 4 for the bonus.
Lemon Cake with Italian Meringue frosting
I baked a traditional lemon cake and took a risk by putting on meringue as the frosting and it actually worked out alright. The cake needed to be baked for 40-45 min and the meringue bakes for 20 min, so I baked the cake for 25 min then took it out and slathered on the meringue quickly and popped it back into the oven.
Lemon Meringue Pie From Scratch!
I decided to challenge myself to make a pie from scratch. I heard making meringue is difficult so I wanted to try it. Sure enough, it was. x.x I picked lemons from my mother’s backyard and hand squeezed them into juice for the filling. The meringue was not fluffing so I had to make it twice. I used an extra egg white and different cornstarch so that did the trick. The crust was store bought unfortunately since they did not offer regular pie pans without it. Seems like the meringue came out perfect the 2nd time but the filling was still very viscous since the cornstarch was a lower quality brand. I used the back of a spoon to create the peaks on the meringue and it seemed to work out good.

Next up, will be creme brulee since my sister requested that.
Le Cirque: This was done for the Disney Interactive weekly art challenge. The words given to us were “Tiger, Mermaid and Downtrodden”. This is my interpretation of it. A tiger-mermaid creature that is enslaved in the circus, thus they are downtrodden. x.x This was a super difficult one to do!!
Life Drawing Sketch (5 minute pose) at work that was colored quickly in photoshop.
Our beautiful model of the day, Krystal O’Connor will be leaving Disney. :( Best wishes to her!
I Scream for Cthulhu!
This was an art challenge for Disney Interactive Folks. The word was to create something from the following words: chocolate covered, cthulhu and graffiti. I thought of chocolate covered ice cream and cthulu in the shape of it. XD
I did this for Level up sketch club. It’s a Dapper Santa! Santa’s got style this season!
